Do you know what kind of fabrics are used for computer bags?

2024-12-06

Yarns of various thicknesses are woven into fabrics according to the running equipment. This fabric is cut and sewn to make various computer bags. Due to different selection conditions, fabrics made from different materials and sizes of yarn also have great differences in functionality. This is the source of differences in the functionality of backpacks. The characteristics of backpacks are determined by the functions of the fabric, such as moisture resistance, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, or ultra-lightweight, thin, and stretchable. In addition, the quality of the fabric directly determines the quality and price of the backpack.

What are the differences in backpack fabrics? First, we need to understand the raw materials of the backpack fabric, that is, the raw materials of the yarn used to weave the fabric. The most common are nylon, spandex, polyester, leather, and white canvas.

1.Nylon

Currently, nylon backpacks are the most commonly used. It can also be translated as nylon. The English name polyamide (commonly known as PA) is a general term for thermoplastic resins that have repeated fluorobenzene functional groups [NHCO] on the carbon chain of the molecular structure. Contains alicyclic PA, human alicyclic PA, and alicyclic PA. Among them, alicyclic PA has many types and is produced in large quantities, and its name is determined by the number of oxygen atoms produced.

The wide range of advantages of this type of raw material is determined by the following factors:

1. It is very easy to care for and can be washed in a washing machine. The drying time is three times that of cotton, ironing is only slightly or not required, it is not easy to deform, and has obvious anti-aging ability.

2. It has excellent properties, has extraordinary elasticity, is particularly light, has strong water absorption, and can also be improved in performance by coating, dyeing and other processing techniques.

What I share today is only a part of the whole. Polyester fabrics are divided into two categories: pure polyester fabrics and blended polyester fabrics. Blended polyester fabrics are fabrics woven by mixing braided yarns with yarns of other materials.

The biggest feature is the resistance to sagging, which allows the fabric to maintain its original area. In addition, the price is relatively reasonable.

2.Spandex Yarn

The biggest feature of polyester is its resistance to deformation, which is the exact opposite. It is highly elastic, stretches 6 to 7 times, and returns to its original shape when the support force is lost.

Spandex yarn is usually not used alone, but is only added in small amounts to woven fabrics.

It is a chemical fiber that combines the properties of vulcanized rubber and the properties of chemical fibers, and is often used in what is called core spun yarn with spandex yarn as the core yarn.

The main features of this type of yarn are, firstly, that it can provide excellent hand feel and appearance, and that the outer fiber made of chemical fiber has good water absorption, secondly, that only 1 to 10% spandex yarn can be used to produce high-quality yarn. Elastic yarn, thirdly, the control range of the ductility rate is from 10% to 20%, and various ductility values can be selected according to the main use of the product.

For notebook backpacks, Amrun rarely appears or hides deep inside. Using the surface of the Amrun bag, it can maintain flexibility and softness, and the added support inside can effectively withstand impacts at every stage.

Therefore, ammonia has become the main fabric for the lining of most laptops.

3.Polyester

The name polyester is too technical. Friends born in the 1970s and 1980s will have heard a fabric called "really cool" in their childhood, which is polyester.

The advantage of polyester is that it has four times the compressive strength of polyester (a type of polyester), and although it is not as strong as ammonia, it still has good ductility of 5% to 6%. It is elastic, has high temperature resistance and insulation strength, and is thermosetting, but it is easy to make large holes when exposed to fire. It has a smooth surface, is durable, and is also wear-resistant. It is durable and corrosion-resistant, but has a relatively low water absorption ability and is prone to static electricity.

There are many types of polyester fiber fabrics, and in addition to pure polyester fabrics, there are also many products that blend or intertwine various fibers, which can make up for the shortcomings of pure polyester fabrics and further demonstrate their performance. Performance.

Polyester fabrics follow the development trend of pure natural fibers such as wool-like, silk-like, linen-like, and suede-like manmade fibers.

Overall, polyester is used much more in clothing than in computer bags.

It is also often used as the lining of computer bags. The most common fabric composition for computer bags is polyester as the noodle and polyester as the lining.

The surface of polyester fabric is shiny and smooth to the touch. It becomes visibly louder and stiffer when folded or twisted.

Polyester fabrics in natural blends have a similar feel only in one direction of longitude, latitude, or layer.

4.Leather

There are many bright spots in the material leather. It doesn't matter what style or size you choose, leather definitely brings durability, that is, longevity.

It is also strong enough to withstand any rough handling and is resistant to stains.

However, leather is easier to maintain than white canvas or polished and waxed white canvas. Bags should be cleaned frequently with a dry or slightly damp cloth, as they quickly absorb dirt and oils, which can damage the fabric.

In addition to being less environmentally friendly, leather products are generally more expensive than white canvas products.

5.White Canvas

Now, when it comes to canvas bags, the first advantage that comes to everyone's mind is that they are lightweight. They are very light compared to leather, so they are easy to carry.

But the biggest disadvantage of white canvas is that it gets very wet when it comes into contact with water. It also needs to be dried for a long time.

Canvas bags are prone to stains and dirt, so they should be used with great care. Unlike leather, canvas bags have no guaranteed lifespan.

Each type of fabric has its own advantages and disadvantages, as well as certain requirements, as well as some regulations and expectations.
